After all it's a small world
In the olden days when you loose a friend, it is hard to find them, but now we are living in Net world. Net world has made our life easy. Finding someone you know is just a click away....
Like that today my niece Archana found me in Orkut, she scrapped me this "hi akka (sister in Tamil)... how r u? I'm archana... i think u may remember." it's been ages since we spoke to each other. I was there when she was born, held her as baby, i was so attached to her, then as year passed we lost in contact. I have no idea what she is doin now, for me she is still the kid who played with me.
I Just could not believe that she contacted me today through Orkut, really we are living in a small world....

Voting Bhooth
I thought, since we are in Net age, we vote our fav actors, vote for our Indian Idol, i ask you friends, why can't we have a procedure where we can vote for good leader too.
I guess we have right to do with our own comfort na.
Goin to Voting booth is like entering a bhooth bungalow or fish market or some kind of scary place, where people fight and there is no sense of manners among people when it comes to Voting. So, some of the people who want to stay away from these problems, tend not vote, but if you have some kind of chance to vote through Internet or even through mobile, i bet everyone will vote....what say?? Think about it....

The Days That Were...... (superb)
What were those days when we had programs like
Malgudi Days, Dekh Bhai Dekh, Ramayan, MahaBharat, He Man and a song Mile Sur Mera Tumhara which created patriotic feelings amoung us.
What ads we had
Vicco turmeric,
Nahin cosmetic
Vicco turmeric ayurvedic cream
Twaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
iiiiiiiiiiiiiiinggggggg
Washin powder Nirma, Washing powder Nirma
Doodh si safedi, Nirma se aayi
Rangeen kapde bhi khil khil jaaye
Surabhi: Renuka Sahane and Siddharth
Then were 'Mungerilal ke hasin sapane' and 'karamchand'...'Vikram Betal', etc.
How did one survive growing up in the 70's, 80's and 90's?
We had no seatbelts, no airbags, no toilet papers and sitting in the back of a truck was a treat…
Our baby prams had the most gorgeous lead based colours…
No such thing as tamper proof bottle tops…
Opening kitchen cupboards was a breeze… as safety locks were unheard off…
Cycling was like a breath of fresh air…
No safety helmets, knee pads or elbow pads, with plenty of cardboards between spokes to make it sound like a motorbike…
When thirsty we only drank tap water, bottled water was still a mystery…
We kept busy collecting bits & pieces so we could build all sort of things … and we were fearless on our bikes even when the brakes failed going downhill…
We were showing off how tough we are, by how high we could climb trees & then jumping down….It was great fun….
We could stay out to play for hours, as long as we got back before dark, in time for dinner…
We walked to school, or sometimes we even rode our bike.
We had no mobile phones, but we always managed to find each other….
How? No one knows…
We lost teeth, broke arms & legs, we got cuts and bruises and bloody noses…. nobody complained as we had so much fun, it wasn't anybody's fault, only ours
We ate everything in sight, cakes, bread, chocolate, ice-cream, sweet sugary drinks, yet, we stayed skinny by fooling around.
And if one of us was lucky to find a 1 litre coca cola bottle we all had a swag from it & guess what? Nobody picked up any germs...
We did not have Play Stations, MP3, Nintendo's, I-Pods, Video games, 99 Cable TV channels, DVD's, Home Cinema, Mobile phones, Home Computers, Laptops, Chat-rooms, Internet, etc ... BUT, we had REAL FRIENDS!!!!
We called on friends to come out to play, never rang the doorbell, just went around the back…
We loved being let loose in the big bad world…without bodyguards…
We played with sticks and stones, played cowboys and Indians, doctors and nurses, hide and seek, soccer games, over and over again…
When we failed our exams we were given a second chance by simply repeating the same grade…without visiting psychiatrists, psychologists or counselors…
Such were the days…
We had freedom, success, disappointments and responsibilities. ..
Most of all, we learned to respect others…
HAVE A SUPER DAY! with Golden Days Value!!!!!!!!!

Publicity Well
In 2006 a kid named Prince feel in the bore well, after that there was another incident of another kid Vandana, now in 2008, another kid named Sonu fell in 100-ft borewell, hope they save him too...
What is happening these days? Who has kept these wells unattended? Are these parents leave their children from some stupid publicity reason. Why these children are left out free near the dangerous wells. I guess now the government should do something about this. They should learn from these and should close these wells which act like a of gateway of hell to these small children.
What do u think? Comment about it ....

God Is One
Thinking of the problems we face, bomb blast in everywhere and destroying the holy place.
I just wanna give you an example that God is One !
Just take example of Lord Krishna and Jesus Christ...Do you know they have many similarity? I will explain in detail...Hope i am not wrong....
1. When Krishna and Jesus were above to be born, there were prophesy about them....
2. Krishna and Jesus did miracles to do good to people
3. Kishan and Jesus's teaching became holy book Bible, Bhagwat Geeta...
4. They both were killed
See how many similarities these 2 different God have, yet we always choose to separate them...., though we call God by different name, he is always same for everyone...

Tradition
Tradition is the only mantra known to Ukrainian Jewish Milk man Tevye. The jewish old tradition where there is Fiddler on every roof and who lay steady with the help of strong support of their unbeatable tradition. Where Man has the last say on the matter, woman who keep the house clean and bring their daughter with the knowledge of household and son help their father.
Tevye is blessed with 5 daughters who is so optimist that he think nothing will come in between his belief and Tradition. But soon his most lovable 3 daughter are set to prove him wrong.
Tradition should be for well being for people, it should teach only good but there are some tradition which should be erased from people's mind such as dowry, female infanticide, animal sacrifice and more....

To Superman's rescue.
Superman always came to his people rescue. Now his people are coming to his rescue, wanna know how?
Superman's home planet Krypton was destroyed, but his house on Earth will live on thanks to loyal fans and an online auction that raised $100,000 to restore the rotting home where the Man of Steel was created.
Everything from original artwork to a role on the hit television show "Heroes" was sold in the month-long auction, which ended on Tuesday, to save the dilapidated Cleveland, Ohio, house where Superman was dreamed up by writer Jerry Siegel and artist Joe Shuster more than 70 years ago.
"This was easily the most humbling spectacular project I've ever been part of, and showed just how much people care about this character and why today Superman still matters," said novelist Brad Meltzer, who organized the auction.
Meltzer said $101,744 was raised in the month-long sale of art, memorabilia and other donated goods, more than double the $50,000 goal. The extra money will allow organizers to fix up not just the outside but also the inside of the Cleveland house where an elderly couple now live.
Meltzer, who discovered the deteriorating house while researching a novel, said at first he wasn't sure people would care about restoring the red-and-blue house where the superhero who wears the red-and-blue suit was dreamed up in 1932.
But the response has been overwhelming.
"The house where Google was created is saved. The farm where Hewlett-Packard was founded is preserved. We protected the house where Dr. Seuss lived, where Elvis lived," noted Meltzer. "So the idea that Superman's house was just rotting away struck everyone as inherently wrong."
Meltzer, who offered the naming rights to a character in his next novel as part of the auction, takes no credit for saving the home, saying loyal fans of the comic book hero came to Superman's rescue.
"We're all Clark Kent. We all know what it is like to be boring and ordinary and we all want to be able to rip open our shirt and do something beyond ourselves. That's what happened here. Ordinary people made a difference."
